The conference was marked by the unprecedented participation of WIZO, the largest provider of social services for women, children and youth in Israel. WIZO joined our coalition of partners with the goal of bringing added awareness to the social and ethical aspects of the surrogacy process. Together with our other partners, CHEN L'pinyon and the Israeli Gay Fathers' Association, they helped stage Men Having Babies' biggest conference yet, including almost 500 intended parents, speakers, researchers and other professionals.

Men Having Babies is now accepting Stage I applications for the Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP), and the organization estimates that in 2014 the program will distribute over $500,000 in cash grants and pro-bono surrogacy related services offered by more than a dozen clinics, agencies, and law firms. In the coming weeks eligible applicants will receive certificates that will provide them access to discounts of up to 40% from participating providers.
