For gay men who want to become parents through surrogacy, the MHB educational conferences are a rare opportunity to get curated information, expert advice and access to a wide range of relevant service providers — and from an unbiased non-profit organization.
Due to public health concerns we are offering this 2020 conference late, and in an elaborate
virtual format utilizing the specialized REMO platform that allows for presentations, breakout sessions, expo “tables” and effective interaction. MHB has already used this REMO platform for our 2020 Midwestern, European and Israeli programs, and
received rave reviews from both attendees and exhibitors.
The program offers comprehensive guidance relevant to intended parents pursuing surrogacy in both the USA and Canada, as well as considerations on choosing other international destinations. Special attention will be given to examining the practical implications and new opportunities brought about by the
NY Surrogacy Reform, which will take effect just days after the conference.
Attendance at this conference will come with
complimentary admission to our
2021 Southern Surrogacy Options Virtual Seminar happening two weeks later, February 20th. The major sponsors from the one-day Southern seminar will be present at the New York virtual event, with several additional Southern providers also being featured, plus our popular personal stories panel.
On the Friday before the conference (February 5), we will once again host the Advocacy & Research Forum, to discuss the social, ethical, legal and empirical aspects of surrogacy and LGBT parenting. The topic this year will be
Fertility Equality: next steps in our fight to broaden access to affordable parenting options.
