VFLLD is a member-based non-governmental association working towards legalization of innovative reproductive procedures such as egg donation and surrogacy in Germany. VFLLD is focusing on three main aspects: 1) Maintain various political contacts across all parties in Germany as well as professional associations, doctors, scientists and agencies. Currently VFLLD works with officials of the newly elected government to forge alliances for a more liberal and family friendly legal environment in Germany. 2) Provide information on status quo of legal aspects for IVF related topics in Germany and help future families finding contacts and provide available information on IVF, egg donation and surrogacy, as in many cases information is not easily accessible through state agencies and doctors due to legal constraints. 3) Provide an environment to network with families that were built through surrogacy and connect families for exchange of their experiences.
