Advocacy & Community Organization
MHB's Advocacy & Community Organization Associate will coordinate MHB's efforts related to both Advocacy and Community Organization. The associate will work to advance more equitable and accessible surrogacy and third-party reproduction for LGBTQ+ prospective parents, and advance the standards included in MHB’s Framework for Ethical Surrogacy. The role will also help organize MHB’s participation in the greater community and MHB Members’ participation in events that further these goals. Hours are flexible, with great potential for self-direction and enhanced scope as appropriate.
Location, Hours, and Salary Information:
- Part to full time, remotely based
- Flexible working hours; expectation of minimum 20 hours per week after training, with potential to increase scope, especially if new funding sources are identified for the expansion of the position
- Pay is negotiable, depending on candidate’s skill set and level of professional experience
