October 6 NY seminar will be held at the JCC in Manhattan, allowing for an expanded program!

Men Having Babies and the JCC in Manhattan are proud to join forces to produce the 9th annual Men Having Babies Surrogacy Seminar and Gay Parenting Expo! It will take place on October 6th, 2013, at the JCC's facilities on Manhattan's upper west side. Following the successful format of previous conferences in NY, Los Angeles, Barcelona and Tel Aviv, the upcoming seminar and expo will bring under one roof experts, parents and surrogates who will share their experiences, and representatives of leading clinics and surrogacy agencies from around the USA and beyond.

As in previous events, the Proceeds from sponsorship and exhibiting fees will benefit the Gay Parenting Assistance Program. While the event is directed at gay prospective parents, the presentations and resources it offers will benefit anyone interested in becoming a parent through surrogacy.

In previous years, the NY conference took place at the NYC LGBT Community Center. “While the initial impetus for the change in venue was the fact that the Center is undergoing extensive renovations this year,” said Ron Poole-Dayan, the organization’s executive director, “we are excited to partner with the JCC in Manhattan that has extensive programing year round for LGBT individuals and families. Furthermore, the centrally located, modern and large facility will allow us to accommodate more exhibitors and prospective parents, and add programs including rooms for private consultations with visiting clinics and agencies.”

More information and registration will be available at the event page by early July. Contact us if you are interested in exhibiting or speaking at the conference.
