"We have full confidence of the safety of the conference given Taiwan’s advanced health system, however we decided to play it safe and eliminate any possible uncertainty," said Ron Poole-Dayan, MHB's executive director. "Furthermore, the new date coincides with a long holiday weekend for several countries in the region, which should help attendance!"

MHB is pleased to inform that the venue and program will remain the same, and all 26 conference sponsors have agreed to the date change. About 200 attendees who already registered have been informed of the date change, and only a handful requested a refund due to scheduling conflicts.

We hope that the suffering and uncertainty that the virus outbreak is causing will be alleviated very soon, and we look forward to a successful conference in October.
